coming from a 3.6 it must be fun. Congrats pw-man, how does it sound? I also went from Cobalt to Mugello.

Thanks! The only 11 Q7 my dealer has sold at this point (and none in stock)... my understanding is they only had 1 allocation at this point... a bunch of Q5's but not 7's... Nice to be unique (for a bit) ;-)

I never drove a 4.2 so I can't comment on myriadshalaks post... but I will say better than the 3.6, much smoother and it feels like alot of power untapped... Haven't done anything radical, but I do find myself easily exceeding the speed limit without thinking about it... (of course I do have new car syndrome, which doesn't help things) ;-)

Need to pay more attention to sound... this model year is much quieter on the inside than my '07... It was quite wierd driving from the dealership, thinking "I can't hear anything outside..." and I didn't even have the radio on that loud ;-)

Glad I went to Mugello... Cobalt is nice, but just too dark... reminds me of the scene in Father of the Bride with Steven Martin and Martin short talking about Steve Martins "Black Tuxaaaadooo" ;-) Its not black, its blue...

The Mugello pops as a color... and with the front treatments they did, has a nice aggressive look...

Is this verified? Doesn't seem like the 4.2 would be outgunned by the 3.0 with 20 less hp. Maybe it's the new 8-sp tranny?
