RSP, good analysis, I think so too. As cool as the TDI is, I did the math and found that I could get a lot more car going with Gas and it would take years and years to get back the money on the TDI at a rate of $512/ year based on our driving and gas prices even if they were $4 per gallon and diesel at $3.

But man is that TDI cool and with that 8 speed transmission... well, we'll see how I like the 3.0T. i doubt I'll complain much. It's weird to order a car sight unseen and un-driven. I just hope that the 2011 is quieter inside than the 2008, the road noise is bad.

RSP thanks for that attachment, and OP please post pics when you finally get it! White/espresso is something I would have done .
