my special order came in wrong :-( ugghhhh
well, I ordered a garnet red Q7 4.2 premium S-line with 21" wheels and about every option.
What came in? Everything BUT the S-Line package! My guess is that they had a shortage on the 21" wheels, but instead of going to the 20" S-line pkg, they just dropped it off. The S-line was the only reason I special ordered because it was hard to find exactly what I wanted on a lot, and we searched about every dealer east of the MS.
Oh well, I'm not taking it. Might just wait for a 2008 now. Should be an interesting discussion with my rep tomorrow. I have an R8 due in via the same folks in Nov. This should be interesting....

I got a 6 seater instead of a 7 seater, fully loaded otherwise, 21" S-line, alcantara, etc.
I got the car for dealer cost, paid $1000 PDI and accepted it.
I ordered Special colour Papaya as well.
In hind sight, I miss that 7th seat and wish i had held out for another car.....
these things happen, but they should equal my dealer's offer. IMHO..
My dealer did the honourable thing.
So should yours.

Well I'm picking up mine tomorrow in Florida and it is the same except with the
20" wheels. It has all options except AMI. It has sat on the dealers lot along with another one identical to it for over three months.

Tell them to find it...Anyone here know where it is?
I bet the car you want exists somewhere. It just went to some other dealer and they cant be bothered to chase it. Even if it didnt, they should be able to find what you want.
Time and again users here have chipped in getting the very spec that someone else supposedly cant get.

There are two guys that have that on here. Don't know if FULLY loaded. But I've
been researching and most Garnet Red S-Lines I have found are V6, not fully loaded, or have the 20" wheels on it. So yours will probably have to be reordered. That sucks. I really want a fully loaded S-line in Garnet with the 21's. Can't afford it right now, but hope to pick one up in a couple years used. The tough part will be finding one with the Adaptive Susp., S-Line, 21's, and Red. Good luck and definately post pics when it finally comes in...same with the R8!

Are you interested in Cobalt Blue 4.2 S line with 21"? I may be selling mine. It has 3400 miles currently. Almost full option but it doesn't have alcantra headliner and Active Cruise Control.
