also the GM at Boardwalk Audi said they will start sending people to training this October. sounds like will be a spring 2014 release
Training in October - now that sounds promising.

Rumors like this ( http://bx.businessweek.com/audi/view?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.inautonews.com%2F2014-audi-q7-might-debut-in-frankfurt) made me hold out hope for a late - winter /early - spring 2014 release assuming a few month delay from the announcement to production initiation and another 3-4 months to get my car built and over here.

Did the GM say that the training was specifically for the Q7?

You're going to love the Q7. I can't believe how much more comfortable it is, especially on long trips, without giving up any straight line performance and little in the curves.
Former S60R owner, loved that car too. Wife now wants an SUV (only one I could drive would be the 6MT Cayenne, being an able bodied presenile man).

The Q7 would look nice next to the S4

My wife test drove a 7 TDI while my car was getting serviced and loved it. Though now I'll have to decide if it's worth waiting for the new model next year.

Almost certainly photoshopped. The front lower grilles (with the LED's) are two different sizes. That said, doesn't look bad.

not for me... with that kind of design on the Q7 i would be leaning towards an x5-m or x5 50i. the interior of that Q7 is going to be something out of this world to make up for the styling. (IMO)

Yeah, looks like an X5 with the fatter rear tires. Still looks nice though.

FWIW, just dropped my Q7 this morning at the dealer for maintenance and had a lengthy converstation with the service manager who said the next Q7 model will be based off the Porsche Cheyenne. Interior will be ridiculous. Lighter weight and better performance as well.

The current Q7 and last gen Cayenne/T-Reg already shared the same chassis.

The new Q7 will share the chassis with the current Cayenne and T-Reg. But supposedly even more weight savings. I think the average savings on the current Cayenne and T-Reg from previous gen was like 700lbs or something like that.

Alas, '14 Q7 is not re-designed Q7. Since the order guide was out already. We'll have to wait for the '15 I guess.

All I hope for is that the overall length remains the same. Only vehicle where I can put my double dog kennel in the cargo area and have the second row seats functional (other than Tahoe class or bigger SUV's).

The '14 Q7 order guide is not out. Wrong information.

Even if it was out, that does not mean that there is not going to be a re-design for 2014.
