I'm in CA (southern)...you would think with all the dealerships around here, this would not be an issue

Wow! Two (whoops! I meant one. :-/) months! That was fast, awesome! We're in Indiana, going through Tom Wood Audi. Ours is now on U.S. soil and our updated delivery window is the week of Oct. 17th.

rcadick,

You meant 1 month, right? That's what a good dealer will do. They will search the build schedule and see if there's a car that is already in production that fits your specs. Then they will grab it when you put in your deposit. A 1 month wait seems impossible for a real custom build from beginning to end. 2-3 months seems to be about the norm. Congrats on getting your Q7 soon. You're going to love it.

fsxv33,

Congrats on your new Q7 and getting it so quickly. I'm in NYC too. I had heard good things about New Country. Where do you plan to go for scheduled service locally? You can PM me directly if that is something that is against the rules or something. Thanks!

Steven

THanks! Yeah, our sale guy told us that a new Q7 TFSI would be more like 2-3 months wait time, but the TDI's would be about a month. He got us the exact car we wanted and it was about a 5 week wait. I live in Brooklyn and have been going to the Brooklyn service the past 5 years, but will probably stop going there. I really have no positive things to say about the Brooklyn Audi service. Been lied to and tricked numerous times there. Shame on me for going back. My sales guy at New Country said their service center is great and he can get me a scheduled maintenance time that he promises they'll keep. I live roughly 40 miles from New Country, but I am willing to make the trip for quality and honest service. I don't know much about the other Audi dealerships and service centers in the tri state area, so cant really comment on them. All I know is BK service is no good and New Country has taken care of me in every way for all three of our Audi purchases.

Default Q7 Order Wait Times

Hi all-

New to forum - ordered a Q7 back in late January, and am told by dealer it looks like early June for delivery. Std Q7 Prem Plus...is this typical timeframe?

I'm in So Cal as well -- so 4 1/2 months seems consistent.

I ordered mine on November 26th and the printout from Audi originally showed arrival at the dealer this week. That has now changed to the end of April. I am really tired of waiting and maybe that end of April date will go into May.

Yeah, these wait times seem ridiculous. I'm new to the forum, what's the historical issue with Audi having such lag times with Q7 availability? There are few if any '12s in So Cal.
