No dealer will give accurate info when a redesigned model will be forthcoming. The only thing they're interested in is selling what is either on the lot or what they can get their hands on. The last thing they want is people waiting to buy something they can't get.

My dealer knows I will most likely trade my '11 Q7 in when the new one arrives, so they are definitely going to keep me up to date.

Summer is almost here, no new pics of the new gen Q7 testing mules. I will be driving through Sierra Nevada in Spain, its roads are frequently used by different german automakers to test their cars during the summer.

I guess I can wait since I usually wait 6 years before I get the itch to buy the latest looking and tech toys MY.

I was going to wait to 2015 to see the new gen one year in the market for the new model problems to be fixed. But I cannot wait until 2016, too long with the risk of major issues (if I can have more issues on top of what I had) with our current Q7
