Just took our 07 in for the 15K service. They did a "telephone" update on the MMI. Love the new AMI feature which has a box with Artist/Album/Song/Time which pops up for each song. That is what it should have had from the begining. Now my bluetooth phone works as well. Nice to see they are actually updating the system with worthwhile features. Got to say I like this truck. Much better than the '04 Touareg we had previously.

The pop-up box is nice but if the name of the song is too long you only see the first part of the song title, has anyone found a way to "scroll" so that you can read the full song title?

Q7 noob question...are the MMI updates free from the dealer or how do you get them?

And for thoose how are curious, the title should read "the creator has a mastertape" by the excellent band Porcupine Tree. Imagine a mix between Pink Floyd, Metallica, Rush and some more. Try the Album's Deadwing or In Absentia.

I think the latest US MMI is 4140, no TMC at all.

Traffic Message channel, it is used for real traffic information through the navigation system, AudiNA does not offer it.
