Default No AUX port on 2009 Q7 S Line?

I recently purchased a 2009 Q7 S Line, and have no way of listening to music from my iPhone on my car speakers. The Bluetooth works for phone calls, but not for playing music. The console has buttons for AM/FM, CD and AUX, When AUX is selected it says "Your device may not be connected or operating properly "...and I can't find any AUX port, I checked in the glove box and armrest...nothing. If there is actually no AUX port, I would appreciate any information on how I can play music from my iPhone on the car system...and not using one of those lighter /radio adapters that sound terrible...thanks.

Interesting your console has an AUX option. I thought these features didnt get added till 2010 models.
I added aux, audio in, bluetooth in and USB mp3 player to my 2007. The device I added intercepts the fiber link between the CD and the MMI, tricking the MMI into thinking the CD is a 12 slot cd changer. the additional slots become the extra options, audio in, bluetooth, mp3's
It wasn't cheap, I think I paid like $500 for it all. but I really didnt care as a car without mp3's etc just sucks lol.

You don’t have an AMI is the S-Line? That’s strange. So under your armrest there is just a large open area like this?

My '08 has AMI. I have one cable that provides an aux input, and another that takes a USB stick with mp3s on it. Did you look for the AMI interface in the secret compartment under the center arm rest?

There should be a 30 pin Apple cable in this secret compartment under the armrest, if there is purchase this device from Amazon, works like the car came with BT audio
