I Googled and purchased on line. Thought I had saved the receipt, but no luck. There are a couple of different 7 pole adapters from Pollak, so shop carefully; although any Porsche dealer should be able to have it in stock. It's exactly the same on the Cayenne.

10/4 thanks & that was mighty nice of ya Dutch to offer it. The stainless frames from Audi are really nice and really pricey.

Here's the link to where I got the socket/plug and adapter. Problem is that there are a bunch of different ones; and I do not remember which one I purchased.

A little more research shows what I am pretty sure is the socket that will match up to the existing plug in your vehicle's factory wiring. It replaces the current plastic cover you have and the vehicle socket plugs right into the back.

And this is the adapter that plugs into the 7 pole plug on the above socket and converts it to a 4 pole as is used on many US boat trailers.

I had both of these on my Cayenne and have both on my Q7. They are top quality!
