PDC beeps, the button light flashes and no display
My PDC has just started playing up, when I press the button or select reverse I get a rapid beeping as if I was very close to an object, the light on the button ( orange ) flashes rapidly and I get no display showing distances of the objects from the sensors.
I've tried rebooting and also cleaning the sensors but no luck.
Any one have a similar problem or know what is up ?

is there any paint peeling off the sensors in any way? I had this issue on mine, and a paint bubble was making the sensors beep, or make my side assist light come on erratically...
Had them repainted- others started to bubble/peel, Audi replaced them. Fine ever since.

The reason is most probably a faulty sensor. You'll have to diagnose it, to find which one. Mine does exactly the same, and it is one of the front sensors, so i am buying a new one tomorrow.
Hope this helps.

How much do new senors cost ?
Do you have to order them body coloured or are they painted afterwards ?
Thanks

Like i said, you need to diagnose with diagnostic software like Vag-com, or any universal diagnostic machine that can access audi park assist. It will tell you exactly where the problem is.
On mine the previous owner had bumped the front bumper and cracked the sensor on the inside.
I dont think they come color coded, you'll need to paint it.
Check the price with your local dealer, the part number on mine is 3C0 919 275P
Cheers
