Deeper,
I dont have the running boards, but I can not imagine anyone but a very small person/child could use them as steps. The Q7 doesnt sit very high. Would imagine they would be good for kids, keeping stray rocks off the body, getting to the roof, and aesthetics. They do look nice.

Looks great
We have a 2009 V8 S-line in white and I think it is one of, if not the best, color for that setup
