Default Is it possible to fit a full size spare tire underneath the rear compartment?

I am looking at the 4.2 Premium Package. Or is it an entirely different configuration. I don't feel quite as confident with the inflatable spare tire.

Google and the Q7 archives show mixed thoughts.

Default I don't believe you can

I used the little compressor this weekend to inflate a kiddie pool (my dumb friend didn't have a compressor) and looking in there tells me no way on the full size spare.

As an aside did you know the battery was under the driver's seat? I was searching everywhere and finally had to resort to looking the manual. There are posts under the hood for jumping (or using the little compressor).

Default i think it depends on package and..

possibly location too.
The reservoir for adaptive air is in the well too so probably eliminates full tyre.
Not available with S-Line either.

IIRC it is available as an extra with standard 5 seater and 18" wheels EU. So you probably have seen it advertised somewhere but cant get it!

Default yep - the batt is under the driver's seat. i asked that question a while ago at the audi streets of

tomorrow, and the techs actually had to ask to find out.

i also asked the guy with me, "how many sheets of plywood do you think you can fit back there", and my wife kinda glared at me...

Default

wouldn't you have to relocate the bose subwoofer if you tried to fit a full size spare back there?
