Very neat, I like the way the top is covered and protected from greasy/sticky hands or dust. Great job thanks for posting.

That is a very sweet setup. I'd love to do something like that.

So where did the CD changer go and how did the MMI take it when it did not see the cd changer?

this thread is just what the doctor ordered. i pick my
Q7 tomorrow and i will need a dvd system for the kids.
the invision SL looks great. i have a few questions.
where does the installer hide the controller box and
where do they draw the power from? does the carpet
get pulled up to link both units or is this a wireless
feature? can this system be ordered through Audi dealers
parts departments? and what does it cost?
thank!

i have to correct one of my previous posts. At the time my tv's were not working. Now that the dealer fixed them, the sound comes either through headphones or through the car radio. the tv's have a built in fm modulater, so just pick a channel on the tv and on the fm radio. only the signal from one of the tv's can be transmitted through the fm modulater obviously. I'm not sure what the holes on the sides are for. There aren't any speakers in there. Maybe its to cool the moniters

The tv's can also display the same thing on both screens, or you can insert a different dvd in each one. Also has a GAME option, but I'm not sure how this works.
