Default Problems with Q7 and Audi

I had an Allroad for 4 years it was wonderful no problems, great car. Should never have changed it.
I just took delivery of a Q7 less than 60 days ago. After a few weeks in the Arizona sun I noticed the a/c did not cool the interior down.
The sun roof makes the car too hot for the a/c.
The dealership tinted the roof for me which was very nice of them. For the last 9 days the car has been 120 miles away at a dealership in Boise. The sunroof would not close, the sun blind would not open and the battery went dead.I got a call this morning at10am saying it was ready and where shall we deliver it to. I told them Hailey Airport.
I asked if the problem had been fixed they said no but the car is Ready. They could not find the problem even with a German tec flying in. But the roof started to work again so it is now "Ready".At 2pm today I receive another call from Audi saying they had bad news, they have no provisions in their Roadside assistance to deliver it back to me. I am alone 120 miles from Boise on vacation, 1200 miles from home, how do they expect me to collect it. My advice to anyone wanting to buy a Q7 is WAIT.

Default AC on Q7 is merde - struggled with temp of 25 celcius for us.

Charge them for the hire car to get your to their garage one way - even better take an expensive cab - and force them to pay it themselves first

Sounds like they are trying to get out of the lemon (3 calls then its out for a new replacement). Make sure you double check the roof is working - if its not then 1 more try and they have to replace the car.

On the AC problem we had a q7 for 3 days and had exactly the same issue. Car was around similar age - temp was only 25celcius - and there was no sunroof - however the AC struggled to cool the car to any degree for back 2 rows.

Perhaps this is why they have the "extra" of the rear seats AC controls Or is that just me being sinical

Sorry to hear of your woes... Been there with Volvo also and dont like the town...

Anyone else think that the Q7's AC is weak? I know my A4's AC is weak compared to my old allroad.

Audi finally came through and delivered the car to me at their cost of about $600 plus paying for my rental car for 10 days. The moral of this story is if you shout load enough and long enough they finally give in.
Thanks for your remarks.
