Funny you posted this. I am having this installed tomorrow. Full front bumper, leading edge of hood, backs of mirrors, an sledding edge of front fenders. I have it on my BMW and its awesome. Also doing door edges, huge for protecting for when u open doors into your garage walls.

i considered this since my previous S4 had it. it worked really well. after observing all the other Q7s with decent amount of miles, i noticed that there is not much of the bumper to cover. with the vehicle being relatively high, there seems to be not much to protect.

I have it on my Q7, and wouldn't be without it. Go with the new Nano-Fusion film from Avery Dennison. It is far superior to any of the other films. Any good applicator will know about it.
With regards to the front bumper, there's a lot of detail there if you properly cover all the forward facing surfaces.

Agreed Dutch, there is tremendous detail on an Audi bumper. Since I purchased the TDI to be our family truckster for the next 5-10 yrs, back and forth to the lake, carpools, grocery getter, etc, I wouldnt be without it either. I ewnt with the upgraded venture shield on my bmw wagon, and it was worth it. However Im using the standard 3M product on the Audi as I will regularly take it thru a brushless car wash and the force of the jets will not affect it. Additionally, the improvements to the product over time have gotten rid of any major yellowing worries. That being said, on a teak brown vehicle im not too concerned about yellowing of the film anyway. Any of you considering film, dont forget the headlights and door edges, two places people often forget.

Thanks for the info...I am waiting for my 2011 3.0T S-line in Iris white to arrive in 2 weeks. That said, hopefully the new films doesnt turn yellowish after some time.
