tell the dealer to arrange it, theyve got to have someone they use. you want it on there before you get any dings in that paint.

And pay considerably higher. My installer does Porsche and Audi. He charges the same to me as he does to the dealer. The dealer adds his markup, which is considerable.

So just so I have a ballpark... what does an installer typically charge for rear (maybe front) and door/mirrors

Anybody have any before/after pictures on the Q posted? I can't say that I have ever seen it on a Q

I paid US$550 for the new Nano-Fusion film applied to my front bumper, bikini hood and mirrors. I did not do the rear bumper.

Posting pics wont do much good as its a clear bra, ha ha. very tough to see! I had the full front bumper, all lights in front including fog, backs of side mirrors, bikini cut across the hood, and the back bumper valance. that amounted to 807 after tax. 100% worth it when you consider todays soft paints and the cost to repaint a panel yrs down the road, if youre a clean freak like i am.

Understand - I guess that was the point ;-)

Since I am a do-it myself detailer... what do you do for waxing, polishing around it, etc.. don't want to buff it off with the PC (as you can tell this would be my first..)

you can clean it thru a regular car wash from what i understand. for hand washing i use products from Griots garage (water based). each manufacturer of the film though should have recommendations.
