I am in the process of negotiating price on a 2011 Q7 TFSI S-Line with all the bells and whistles minus the B&O audio... just can't justify that one... I wish I could :-)
My question is, what is a fair price and what are some good negotiation strategies? Also, what are your opinions on the '11 Q7 S-Line in general?
I'll be trading in an '08 Jetta SE in excellent condition with average miles... don't know if that helps.

Yeah, I am aware of the supply and demand issue on the Q7. My local dealership got 2 allotments this month, one of which is already spoken for. Delivery would be in the April time frame. Where is a good place to get invoice pricing?

I bought my 2011 S-Line Prestige in Oct 10 from dealer stock. I told the salesman "I want it for $3,000 off invoice"; he said "no problem"; done deal.
I have the only non-TDI 2011 Q7 sold in New Mexico. I stopped by the dealer the other day. They have 3 2011 TDIs sitting on the lot--can't get rid of them.

Also, I would really like the vehicle in red but I know they don't make it in red. So, I was thinking one of the blues or black. My question is what is the major difference between the metallic blue and the pearl blue? Which one is generally preferred? Which one do you guys think it will look better in? Since the dealerships don't have the vehicle in stock I can't see what the colors look like on them. I have seen it in white but am not a white car kind of guy.

Today I ordered a base Q7 with just NAV package, got it $800 over invoice.
ZAG (amex or usaa) price is 1600$ over invoice.
Costco price s 1200$ over invoice.
Note: Audi increased the US price by $600 on Q7s on Jan 6.
