Default Put a deposit down on my 2010 Q7 TDI today!

It should be in around mid-January - it was already part of the dealer's allocation. Was able to get them down $2425 off MSRP, plus getting 2.9% 36-month loan, and they pay the first month's payment.

Here are the specs:
2010 Q7 TDI Prestige
Black on black
Warm weather package
Cold weather package
Towing package

Congrats! Did I understand that you are financing (not leasing) and you got the first month's payment? Is that paid by Audi FS, or is it basically coming out of the dealer's profit margin?

My "dealer" tells me that the First Month's Payment is only available on lease contracts, not financing....

Same here. My dealer's Finance person indicated that they did not have that rate or the first month paid by AOA for Q7 sales.

I just took the AOA financing on my new Q7 with the first month payed. Note however that they will only cover up to the first $1000 of the first months payment.

I am financing, not leasing. The first month is paid for by Audi (manufacturer). Here's where I got that info from and showed it to my dealer (it is not on the Audi web site):

You should plug in your own zip code though to see what the deals are in your area - the link I posted is for my zip code.

They did state that the first month's payment cap is $1000, but mine is only going to be about $700+ so I don't hit the cap.

Should note that just after I made my post about how my dealer wasn't participating, I got a call from the salesperson indicating that the Finance Office screwed up and that AOA would be paying my first month's payment for me.

I thought about that but I have it all in writing... Guess you just have to sign the deal by the 5th.
