Q7 2013 Rear Wiper electrical problem?

The rear windshield stopped working in my 2013 Audi Q7 TDI.
While I replaced the motor, I tested the electrical harness feeding the motor to see if there was power coming from it. I could get power when triggering the washer fluid but not when the rear wipers were turned on.
There are no obvious wiring problems for what it is worth.
The new motor did not fix the problem.
Is there a controller unit, relay or fuse that I should replace next? Any suggestions on trouble shooting this?
The 2013 model year and beyond appears to no longer have its own fuse and the manual lists a 30 amp "wiper fuse" but not specific to the rear wiper.

Sounds like it's related to the device that turns on the wiper with mine its push the lever back 1 notch.
When you initiate the washer I am pretty sure that is a different motion of the lever or something else which the car then turns on the wiper without your input to do so.

After aayear of tryin to hunt this down searching the internet looking at wiring diagrams I finally fixed it. What was the answer? take it to a trained mechanic. Turns out there's an undocumented fuse box behind the glove compartment that I could not find any internet Audi or other documentation about. in the years previous to the 2013 it was well documented but there after about 20 10 I could not find anything that would show this

I have a same problem on Q5 2011, changed rear wiper motor, didn't help, my wiper was slowly dying, started in winter when you apply wipe it would start after 5-6 sec. and now it is dead.
when I mesure it gives me 12 v power on the connector for the motor but motor won't move.
Can you explain more what mechanic did?

I had the same issue, found the hidden fuse location on a RHD 2007 Q7 just to the right of the steering column. It’s the blue 15 amp fuse below the big orange fuses. Need to take both lower footwell panels off to see it. Mine was blown, replaced and working a treat.

It does often boggle the mind how many remote fuse box and relay locations this car has.
