Q7 is now doing much better at the beach. All terrain tires made a big difference.

They are H-rated and handle pretty well. We have a long trip to the Jersey shore coming up and I'll be putting the 20" tires back on for that.

When we learned that the 20" tires did not work in sand, I was there to dig out the wheels and push to get the Q7 moving again. If my wife is with the kids and gets stuck and calls for a tow, I can't imagine a tow truck driver carefully removing the plastic grill with the delicate little tabs that hold it on. I can imagine the tow truck driver wrapping the tow hook around an aluminum suspension arm that should not be in the middle of a 5000 pound tow. So, I took a Rotozip to the grill and installed the tow hook.
