I did exactly the same thing - no SR. I doubt resale will be lessened more than USD $500.

We didn't order the sunroof either but did get the 4-zone AC. Nice & cool!

I enjoy my sunroof, live in Italy and the mesh screen provides adequate protection, but I can imagine that it might not be the best thing in TX. What I dont understand is the Q7 not having a standard one glass moonroof option. I think that have a 1800 USD 3 glass moonroof as the only option is silly. I would have preferred this over the three glass option because it would have let me put an overhead video unit in the back. Instead I had to get headrest monitors which destroy the whiplash protection of the headrests. Sadly I see Audi offering an entertainment package but at 1300 USD not including installation -- what are they thinking.
