So the suspension controller probably has a default to assume a door is open if it doesn't get a proper response from the door control module. Therefore, these codes will have to be rectified too.
Just don't know the order of operations if you should deal with the door module first or the suspension module.
Sorry to post in here, since i am new i can't start a new thread? I just turned in my wife's leased 2012 Q7 and i have a Weathertech black mat that goes behind the 3rd row of seats. Does anyone need one that is near 1000 Oaks, CA, if not PM me and i can ship it to you....it's free
Close the doors and clear all codes with your laptop plugged in through the drivers open window then straight away see if you can run the adaption process. It may well not see the door open status then.
Hi guys
sorry to bring up an old thread but I am having such a nightmare with my Audi Q7
Its a 56 reg Audi Q7 3.0 TDi S Line
About 2 months ago I heard the compressor running even when the engine was off and eventually after a few hours the back end of the suspension dropped and options to raise/lower the suspension didnt work. The front end stayed exactly where it was.
Figured the compressor had packed in, bought a second hand one, had it fitted and everything was back to normal, well atleast I thought it was!
2 days later after coming off the motorway the compressor started making some weird noises, clunking and clicking and all sorts even with the engine off. The following day the back end of the suspension dropped again and option to raise and lower the suspension grayed out on the MMI. I thought maybe a sticky relay caused the 2nd pump to contentiously stay on and burnt it out again (stupid mistake of mine not to change the relay the first time!)
So got another air compressor, fitted it in along with a new relay and nothing, all the options on the MMI are available to select but the suspension is does not move, since all the airlines were disconnected when changing the compressor ect the whole car is dropped to the ground now all around. I then thought maybe it is a module fault, so got a new air suspension module but that didnt work either.
Its now been about a month and the car has just been sitting on the driveway looking miserable (between being busy at work and being on holiday, the car has not received any time from me)
I am getting the following codes on vcds along with the flashing air suspension warning lights on the dash:
If there is now nothing working, I would suggest the main 20amp fuse has blown. I am not sure where it is located but goggle will probably give you the answer.
Once you have it running again - and it should not run unless the ignition is on so it sounds like the relay was sticking, see what happens - clear codes and start from scratch.
We've checked the fuses a number of times and they all seem fine.
Just cannot get my head around it.
Do you think it could be the rear level sensors?
Also does the screenshot of the readings make any sense to you?
many thanks once again
Hello, I would like to pick up on this old topic, I have also recently had a problem with my air suspension, I get three error codes, 1577.1400.2250. As soon as I start driving, the yellow light starts flashing. I have VCDS. Can someone help me how I can identify the problem? Does anyone know how I can test the different sensors?
In the meanwhile I have read out with VCDS:01577 - Turn-Off due to Over-Temp
