Default Q7 Tailgate Issue

Hi,

Can anyone help solve my power tailgate issue with my Q7?

I have just replaced the trunk latch and also the striker plate as was having problems with the tailgate latching. This has worked but now i have a problem that actual tailgate although closes and locks, one side has a bigger gap between the tailgate and the main body of the car and am worred that water will get in.

Also, when you lock the car with the remote, the tailgate lights do not flash, the lower ones on the rear bumper do instead.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

sounds like you need to adjust the striker further into the vehicle, the tailgate lights will not work until the tailgate fully pulled in.
