Default Q7 TDI 2010 scheduled maintenance package

I'm waiting for my baby to arrive in 2 weeks. I bought this Audi maintenance package for $740/2 years. Not sure whether this was a good move?

What is actually included or more importanty not included to this? I understood that 15k, 25k, 35k and 45k maintenance. Some thread mentioned also 5k maintenance.

Which one is more expensive to be serviced here in US: Diesel or petrol car?

Thanks.

Push to not have to pay for this package. I got a coupon in the mail a while back to get it for free. The coupon is good until the end of the year.

I purchased the Audi care package but it was part of the negotiated price of the vehicle. Audi covers the 5K service regardless of care package. There is not a time limit as far as I know but rather it is based on service interval and whatever is listed for the particular service is covered by the care package. Your wiper blades, break pads, light bulbs and other wear and tear items are covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles if at all and are not part of the care package. Regardless of gas or diesel engine, the care package is a good value unless you do all of the service work yourself and really know what you are doing (i.e. you won't screw it up). I have 21000 miles on my '09 Q7 TDI and have incurred no costs beyond fueling up every 500 or so miles.

Just wondering, did you consider waiting for the upcoming Q7 with 8-speed transmission?

I ordered the car on Jan 21st. At that time I did not know the 8-speed transmission.
