Looking at purchasing a Q7 to tow - I would like to have the increased towing capacity

If I purchase a Q7 without the towing package - ad would like to add it myself - what needs to be added

I have seen a couple of places that its hitch - brake package/module and different cooling fans - Is this correct?

If so - is there a place to buy the package?

Depends on what engine your looking at, If you add a hitch, even the OEM one its rated for 5500lbs.. the factory towing package got the higher towing rating because it got more cooling capabilities too.

If your purchasing a Q7 to tow, should be looking for a Diesel on Air w/Factory Tow package.
