Has anyone done this mod? There's a lot of information in various forums, but nothing that seems to consolidate the info.
Please excuse the formatting of this post, it's somewhat of a brain dump so I can find the information later, as well as hopefully help out other members looking for the same info.
There's obviously some missing info. If anyone knows the details I've marked in red, please let me know.
I'll try and clarify anything else that doesn't make sense.

Proper tightening torque is 100NM and it is very important to get these nuts tight.
Torque specs on the front sway bar brackets 60NM

Have a 955S and a Q7 Non-air. The difference in ride characteristics are night and day. Both packages are tuned differently and balanced accordingly; Q& for lux; 955 for Sport. The Q7 will need much more than anti-swaybars to step away from lux into Sport. Recommend KWV3 coilovers with those sways if you want to transform the Q properly.

Thanks for the comment AUJ ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Just to clarify, your Cayenne 955S is also steel suspension?
And just to complete the info, would you mind confirming the coloured dot (even better, part numbers?) on front/rear sway bars of both your cars please?
I need to do the same for my Q7 Air.
I'm just not sure if you can see the dots on an installed bar or not...

Yes, Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S apparently had Air suspension as a standard option. Unknown if it's a different control unit, but so what? ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The main point is that the physical sway bars are a universal part.

yeah the sway bars are a starting point but I was wondering if there was some way of reprogramming/switching out the control unit to give more like Cayenne handling. I suspect the strut units are the same, the bump/rebound settings will be varied by the controller

Sorry, been busy traveling. Just put Eibachs on the Cayenne S (steel spring) and the stock springs look real similar to the Q7. Touareg guys are putting Cayenne S springs on their 4.2's with over an inch drop over stock. I may put the Cayenne S springs on my Q7 because it is a little to plush for my tastes and am hoping for a drop like on the Touareg. I will climb under and get the dot colors off my anti-sway bars; but if yo want the color dots off the Cayenne S stock springs (which are made by Eibach); they are double white dots in the rears, and the fronts are double yellow plus a single blue.
Will installing these give me a nice drop? Also what about the stiffness? Wouldn't it be soft?
