The engine/tranny combo in a JX is a mirror of a new Nissan Pathfinder that's coming out next year.

Weird to see how Nissan tests the setup in a luxury vehicle b4 getting it into the mainstream cars. It's usually the other way around.

Drive the Q7 and the JX in the same day, snap pix of both and then compare - I think it's a no-brainer... both cars arent' even in the same league.

I think the JX is FWD and 265hp because it shares the nissan quest platform. If it was RWD and had the 3.7 350hp engine I bet it would get some attention.

I completely agree. We test drove them the same day and could justify paying the premium.
