I know it is 4y old , but i have to say, my 1999 seat leon has memory seats which work with keys also, so key profiles are not found in 2012 hahaha
For memory to work, 1st you have to "reset" seat position by moving all the way forward and height the seat and backrest also, all the way to steering wheel., with ignition ON and driver door open!

After that, set your seat and mirrors press and hold button 1 or 2 or 3 for desired position, until it beep, then remove key from ignition and press and hold unlock button until beep again.

For Different car models buttons are different, in Q7 have to press SET button to enter setting mode, after that turn SET button off. For some cars A8 for example, has red MemOff button which has to be in correct position for setting or working mode.

Setting of memory can be done only with driver's door open, if your door lock mechanism is not working as intended to, you may be unable to set seat memory.

Operating of seat memory work by unlocking with corresponding key, and when driver door is opened, (or memory position button is pressed) everything moves to stored key settings. Again need proper functioning door lock, so module can see the door open!!!

If driver door is closed, or module can't see it, or key is in ignition , acc on , the memory position buttons do not operate by 1 click, because module know u are already in car and may be driving or pressed button by mistake. You have to press and hold memory button to complete adjusting to that memory number in that case.


Those settings must be done in 46 cent convenience module, adaptation menu , for A8 Q5 Q7 etc.... For each key have a lot stuff to be adjusted, really a lot!
