SERIOUSLY?!?! That's a wider rim than any 275mm tire is spec'd for.
Most are approved for 8.5 - 10.5 inches. I would have guessed that they 8.5 - 9 inches in width.

the overall width is 275 which is same as the tire so no kerb crawling.
I dont know the internal width but you asked "how wide" so I threw the tape.
I am sure they are well within the specs. Why worry?

I guess you're right. I was looking for a replacement tire that's slightly lower profile
Found a 285/40, but the rim requirements were 9.5", so I wanted to see if our rims met that requirement. Thanks for measuring, I appreciate it.
