i have a 2009 Q7 i was in the car listening to the radio few min later the screen just shut off and won't came back on fully. the only thing that come up is the audi sign then get will go back off also no sound. can anyone help me here?

By any chance was it raining or were you washing the vehicle? if this is the case then your amplifier got wet and more than likely you will need to replace it.

If you do have a leak from the sunroof drains, does the water collect anywhere visible so you can see any early signs of the leak?

Its a hit or miss deal. I wouldn't wait to see any signs on water to get it fix, trust me its just not worth it.

But to answer your question, yes you can typically see water collecting in the drivers and passenger foot rest.

Again don't wait for this to happen, I fixed the drains myself (pretty simple) after damage was done and ended up paying $5200 to get my MMI working again.
