rear dvd entertainment coming soon
After promising my kids that our next car would have a rear dvd entertainment system I was leaning towards the x5, I really don't want to have an after market system installed. I thought I'd email Audi just to verify that nothing is in the pipeline, sales people at Audi weren't much of a help, probably just want to move the ones they have on the lot. Well, I just heard back from Audi that they intend to offer the rear entertainment system at the end of the 1st qtr, Mar'07. I guess I can wait a little longer...

I found it in a Q7 accessories PDF.
I don't have any other info about it aside from the pic. and part number, I don't have any other info about it. Drop me a line and I'd be happy to email the PDF to you.

i remember seeing something like that at the streets of tomorrow event...
you could remove each of the dvd screens from the back of the seats.
it's not as clean of an install as the visualogic one's. if the dvd entertainment option is the same, then it's actually another bracket behind the headrest/seat back to hold the screen.
don't have any pictures though...
