You've got a sunshade on your rear hatch? I feel so cheated now, lol.
Seriously though, that's part of the hot-weather package option, and we have it on one car, but not on the other. I've tried using it a few times and find it obscures my ability to see out the back when not in full-on sun, and it still allows all of the heat into the cabin too because it is inside the glass and black, which absorbs heat...only to release it into the cabin, etc. They make you feel cooler than you would w/o them simply because they block the rays from hitting you directly, so its like standing in the shade.
A much better solution these days is to tint your windows using a high-grade ceramic, heat-rejecting window film. That stuff is absolutely amazing; I don't have the hot-weather pack on our '10, so I put the heat-rejecting ceramic film on every glass surface in the car...nothing short of amazing in how much cooler the car is inside, as well as being able to run with the sunshade open on sunroofs even in the full sun and not getting baked or feeling uncomfortable.
It'd be super cheap just to tint the back liftgate w/ ceramic, but I guess that all depends on what your goal is.
