Remove 6 Disc Changer?

Remove 6 Disc Changer?
Looking for a bit more storage in the console. Has anyone removed the 6 Disc changer? What is underneath? Can it be used for more storage?

The changer wasnt always there so even if your car does not have the deeper storage it should be available as a part.
That space has also been used for AMI and originally an extra CD player was available in there. I have the deeper storage and my 6 CD changer is in my dash (06 build MY2007).
You should be able to put your CD changer unit in the rear if you still want it as long as you connect to the MOST circuit.
If you take it out you will need to place a loop in line.
PS bump only works for certain viewing options... it doesnt bump on my screen but hey, sorry for ignoring you in any case.
