It really doesnt matter, any of those parts places, Autozone, napa, orielleys, there house brand "ie duralast, napa true stop, ect" are made by Raybestos anyway, which is a decent manufacture. I like the bosch quiet cast pads you can get fairly cheaply online. Its just brake pads, they all do really the same thing. Some dust more, some squeak more, some wear faster, you get what you pay for typically.

I've used Hawk hps and EBC's in my other Audi's in the past. You usually can special order both of them from autozone. Otherwise, ping Adam from www.adamsrotors.com or tire rack for help.

I should find my old thread where I wrote about the Hawk Ceramic pads and give an update. To date, they perform great. When you first get them, you'll notice the bite isn't as dramatic.... but over time, they will perform like your OEM pads without all the blackness that accumulates so quickly. You'll still get dust with the Hawks but will be much less, and the wheels on both front and rear get dirty at the same rate - as opposed to the fonts looking black first.
A tip to remember, order a new set of sensor wires for all 4 as well, as they are cheaper online than when you have the shop order them.
