I bought a similar set up to the one that you linked to, so I will let you know when I have an opportunity to try the install to see if it works. The problem that I have been having, is that anytime I have tried to do a direct plug and play with an LED reverse bulb (several kinds at this point) they do not light up. I have tried to test them outside the car and they work fine. I am hoping that the resistor will help fix that problem.

Likewise, I am curious if anyone has had any luck stopping cold diagnostic flashing. I had an LED fog light set up which I really liked but if they were not turned on, every 30 seconds or so they would flash briefly which was noticeable as I was driving so I am sure they were distracting for other cars. I ended up taking them out because I feared they were dangerous. I did not have any resistors installed in that set up though, will they eat the cold diagnostic voltage and stop the LED from lighting up or is that unavoidable?
