Who needs DVD head rests when you can play all your videos on an iPad and stream the sound via Bluetooth!

New on the 2012 Q7's are a change in the steering wheel and shifter **** design, also MMI with wifi hotspot and google earth navigation.

Nice!

Strange--they removed one of the 12V plugs. I have a second one to the left of the shifter above the Stop Engine button.

that is because you have the wood trim. all aluminum trim is one socket.

Are you saying that the MMI accepts a bluetooth audio input source now?

Well, I don't know how it worked before, but on my 2012 MMI, I go to Media/Jukebox and can select my ipad bluetooth connection for the audio. So yes my iPad 2 is streaming music to my MMI.

About time. I wonder if there is a way to hack 2011 models to do the same

I heard the bluetooth module is identical but 2010, 2011 this feature is disabled.
