A2DP, wow. I wished I can enable this on my '10.

Even the AMI A2DP adaptor won't work, it's meant for the earlier MMIs, pre 3G.

Then they don't have it on the 3G, but now the 2012 does. Is that the 4th gen of the MMI, or is it like a 3.5G.

Guys with a vagcom, see if you can figure out how to enable it.

Got the iPad mounting bracket from CoulView. I wanted one with an arm so I can swing the iPad to the middle of the two front seats. I just wish the arm on this one was a little longer so it could sit in the middle of the two front chairs.

Wow, guess I got lucky. When I was buying the Q7, I just assumed this would work. Even bought the iPad bracket before I got the car! I have tons of movies ripped for my kids that I load onto the iPad. Thus far streaming the movie audio from the iPad to the MMI works just fine!

Thanks for the link! I wondered how far towards the middle it extended. This is crucial to avoid arguments over who sits where.

You would think for something so sought after there would have been a fanfare or BLOCK CAPS announcement. Perhaps Audi were so embarrassed by their own tardiness they just snuck it in.
Any year now they may even put the 3.0 TDI unit in a Q5 for the US/Canada or even update the Nav maps.

Anybody with a Canadian model 2012 Q7 confirm that Bluetooth streaming is available? Seems we didn't get the option for data service, google maps and wifi hotspots so wondering if we actually received the update to Bluetooth?
