Default Sirius satellite radio stations

I just purchased a new Q7 with Sirius satellite radio which is a relatively early build since the destination charge is $720.

My vehicle only has about 10-12 stations for Sirius including New Country, All Elvis, CNN, Weather, NFL, Classic Vinyl, 80's hits, #1 hits, Jazz Cafe, Symphony and some hip-hop stations.

Aren't there more stations available? Do I need to visit my Audi dealer to update my MMI?

Default Sounds like you are in Demo mode

Call Sirius and they will most likely give you 3 months of service for free and thus allow you to listen to all 100+ stations.

Default You need to call Sirus and sign up for the 3 month Audi trial package

then you can sign up for the term you want.

Default How long does Demo Mode last?

Can one just keep only those 10-12 stations and listen to them for free? (Or does it "time out"?)

Default it is dictated by Sirius

and therefore who knows. It could last forever, or eventually be shut off.

Default Thanks!

After calling Sirius and reading them the radio serial number (accessed through MMI) I now have 184 stations!

Of course in 3 months I will have to decide whether or not to pay the $6.95 or $12.95 a month cost - my wife has an A6 on order so theoretically we could both get satellite radio for the price of one person.
