Is it still Worthy to buy 2010 Q7 instead of 2011 (facelift) model?

As my Title tells you, I want to know if the pre-facelifted model S-line Q7 is still worthy to buy instead of 2011 facelifted model?

Out of LED's, new bumpers, and a MINOR change on the dashboard, is there anything that I miss in facelift model?

Cuz I can't decide should I get the facelift or the pre-facelit model is still worthy to buy or not?...

If I buy 2010 I think to buy the new Front-Fascia Mask of the new-model Q7 with those Aluminium Vertical lines, and also to replace the Blinkers in front with V12 TDI model-like Day-time running LED's. (Just like in the picture that i have uploaded).

2010 is the facelifted model year, not 2011.

As mentioned above... 2007-2009 are the original model, 2010-2011 are the updated/facelifted model. YES... you can easily (fairly) update an 07-09 with the new front and rear bumpers and the LED headlights, taillights, and blinkers. Is it cheap to make all the changes? No... but you could do it little by little till you got what you wanted.

I just purchased a loaded 09 TDI Prestige SLine... i am updating the car to the 2010 facelift... starting with the rear lights/bumper, and the new grill. I will eventually replace the headlights/blinkers, but i will wait a bit before doing everything.

Price of the full facelift? Well... I am going to guess all said and done you are looking at $4-6K.
The rear tail lights + new control module = $1000
New rear lower bumper + insert + paint = $1000ish
New head lights are $1000 each
New LED turn signals $600
New front bumper cover + inserts + paint = ??
Plus a bunch of little parts.

So... it's expensive... but in my case i found the perfect car and it was a 2009 w/9K miles on it and it was $15K less than a new 2011 Prestige Sline... but without some of the extra options the 2009 had (B&O, Air Susp, Lux package, etc.)

Also you need to remember that pre-2010 cars will have MMI2 vs the new MMI 3. Personally i think MMI2 is fine, so i don't care (but I will add that a few guys have upgraded their MMI2 Q7's to MMI3... just more money to throw at your car... but at some point you just need to buy a 2010/2011.

Now that the facelift issue has been cleared up, here is my POV.

If you are considering getting a face lift model, consider a 2011. Not only does it have the cosmetics of the LEDs, it has the newer supercharged engine, 8 speed transmission, and the aforementioned MMI3. To me, worth the price difference between a used 2010 and brand new. I don't know what the price differences between an 09 and used 2010 are, but that may be close to the 4 to 6k to get the LEDs and bumpers retrofitted. And the headlights may not even be available yet.

If you are interested in the V8 engine, then ****** up a 2010 as that is the only year with the facelift available with the 4.2.

All very good points; however, if you are considering the TDI, there's no reason not to ****** up a 2010 TDI as there is no difference between the 2010 and 2011 models, with the added benefit of receiving the facelift in the 2010 model and still looking "new."

???... The 2010's have got the LED's and MMI3... the only difference between 2010's and 2011's are the engine/transmission line-ups!!!

2010 vs 2011 gives you different engines, 8 speed trans... other stuff is just icing on the cake.

Thank you all for you comments until now but MY MISTAKE, I wrote 2010 & 2011, but I thought between 2009 and 2010, so as I said the facelifted model and pre-facelifted one! Sorry again.

I really appreciate your comments and want to thank you all again.

Ness.
