So the rear sunroof on our 07 3.6 isn't closing. It looks like it closes, but the light stays on like its still open.
I searched, but didnt see any other complaints with the rear sunroof or reoccuring problems.
Anyone else have any issues?

I had a similar situation after parking it in the hot sun with that rear window up. Try pressing and holding the close button to see if that closes it. If not, mine would usually close after the A/C cooled the car down a bit.

Think there is a TSB on the rear sunroof - we had one that fixed something on it.

Mine would close but would just open again. Turning off the ignition did not fix it but I tried starting the car with the key rather than the start button and was able to close the rear sunroof. This has worked with MMI issues as well for some reason.

Happens to mine every now and again... I just keep pressing it until it closes... sometimes takes 20 times.

I had a loaner Q7 which did this. Ours has had all kinds of S/R issues except for this one(yet...)

Mine does this too, I usually have to hold the button down and it always closes when I do that.

When I hold the button down, it closes, but then pops right back open?

Try cleaning the track around the window, as well as the rubber gasket around the glass. I used Vinylex, which also lubricates it a bit.

Your only other choice would be to take it to the dealer for an adjustment, but that would be my last resort.

I had this issue after the dealer repeared the sunroof, due to leakage. After trying to close, it poped up again. It was just a 5 min. adjustment of a sensor.
