All the talk got me thinking maybe I should be buying something a bit pre-loved as opposed to leasing another car for another 3 years. Are any of the 2011/2012/2013 engine or trim level models known to have any kind of issues that I should steer away from or check?
Thanks.

FWIW --- I made that decision too for my wifes TDI Q7. We bought at 20000 miles and now are at 37000. No real issues. Had a bad NOX sensor the first week but since then nothing.

I went back and forth about it and finally decided a low mileage (17k) CPO would suit me best because of the warranty, since I drive about 30k per year and keep my cars 4-5 years. It didn't hurt that the one I found had the exact options I wanted and included Audi Care.
