I'll never get another high performane SUV tire other than a Toyo Proxes ST II. I have 295/40/20s on my Cayenne Turbo, just replacing my old ones after over 40k miles. They're quiet, handle as well as Contis, Michelins, Pirellis and Nokians. The Nokians were my favorites, but a local tire guy had a hard time getting them. He asked me to try the Toyos, and I haven't turned back. None of the other tires, including the Nokians, have lasted anywhere near 10k miles. The Toyos are also M&S rated, not bad in the winter. They don't beat my 18" winter setup, but I haven't bothered to switch to it the last 2 years with the Toyos.

Default 295/45/20

The problem is that most people compare worn out Conti to brand new replacement - of course almost any tire with 0 miles will be more comfortable and quiet than the 40K miles one.
If you go with the 295/45/20 please post some pics. I'm thinking about this size as well and would love to see before buying tires online.

Thank you, Mario.

A couple of questions.
1. Do you feel the ride is smother than 275-45-20?
2. I appreciate if you can post your Q from the front or rear to see how Q looks like with the fat tires.

If you get a chance I would love to see a side shot as well. It looks as if the 295's are a great fit on that wheel. Any issues in the rain?

Any chance at getting a full shot of the Q from the side? I'd like to see the relationship of the taller tire as it fits in the wheel well.
Thnx
