tires on 08 Q7
Both tires on the right side of our car seem to have developed a leak recently. I had to put air in twice in the last 3 weeks.
I can't imagine that this is something that we caused, we have not hit a curb or such and as far as I can tell the tires are not punctured (I guess they would lose pressure a lot faster if they were). The worst of the two lost 10 psi in 2 weeks, the other one lost 4 psi).
Is such a condition covered by the vehicle warranty? (assuming that the tires are truly not punctured)
Our Q came with Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400 tires. Do any of you experience loss of pressure with yours?
Are these the tires that the 07s came with?

I'm in the UK, but...
I have Continentals on mine, without problems. The UK waranty wouldn't cover them as they are items that face wear and tear. I would be gutted if 2 went though, so maybe try and appeal to your dealer's better nature and be nice to him/her?

6 weeks old...when did U last check pressure?
Are you In an area where temp drops rapidly this time of year?
Maybe not properly seated, hate that.
I would definetly tell Dealer as so new.
You are 1 of 3 using Bridgestones so far reported in here. The other 2 only use as summer tyres.
29 on Conti
7 on Dunlop
15 on Goodyear (Eagle F1 12)
2 Michelin
1 Pirelli
1 toyos
The other 170 members (who have posted info) have not as yet mentioned.

Sounds like they're punctured
That is an abnormal loss of air. I've had punctures where a nail stayed in my tire and I lost no air. Other times, I've lost a lot of air.
The fact that you've got two tires on the same side losing air could mean that you ran over something sharp that got both tires.

Re: 6 weeks old...when did U last check pressure?
No, I'm in North California, no serious temperature swings yet.
I last checked them this Friday and before that about 2 weeks ago (I drove about 1.2K miles inbetween).
The 5k service appointment is coming up, I'll mention it to the dealer.

couple of things...
(1) tire warranty is covered by tire manufacturer, not Audi. If it's a defect in the tire, you should contact the tire manufacturer. However, if there's a puncture and you don't have road hazard insurance, I think that you'll be out of luck.
(2) Nails/Screws > Rubber, so you can't really fault the tires...
