Default Total miles on a full tank of gas?
How many miles have you guys gotten on full tank of gas (3.6)?

I know the trip computer tells you how much miles you will have when you add gasoline, but is this the actual miles you will get on a full tank of gas (give or take a few miles)? Just curious. I've yet to travel on a long trip to see how many actual miles the full tank will give me.

I've gone 480 and thought I was running on fumes. Filled up and had 1.5 gallons left.

Default I've never made it past ~350 (actual odo reading). I find the 'estimate mileage' in the MFI to be
rather optimistic. I must have a lead foot ;-)

Does it not monitor consumption/remaining fuel and make a calculation?

Default around 440 miles is my best.
i've noticed that the q gets around 19 mpg when we do long road trips, and around 14-16 mpg local.

I have the 3.6 but you must have a lead foot, you're averaging around 13 mpg, seems poor for the V8.

Default yeah that..and a LOT of stop 'n go traffic. Even my A4 only gets ~24MPH (rated 22/30)
Come to think about it, we rarely just 'cruise' along for any extended period of time because of all the traffic.

Default I've never gotten more than 350 either. We live in San Diego
and it's always stop and go traffic here. I fill up at the gas station more than I thought I would with a 26+ gallon tank. Filled up yesterday and it cost me exactly $80!! Yikes!
