I had to tow a loaded trailer from Denver to ABQ a few months ago. I was very impressed with the Q7, especially since about 50 miles was through a nasty snow storm, I-25 covered in snow/ice, wind blowing like crazy, limited vision.

My mileage dropped to about 14 MPG.

Hey Everyone,

I'm towing a 5'x8' U-Haul trailer tomorrow and this will be the first time I've towed with a vehicle. I have a question about the air suspension mode. I drive in dynamic 95% of the time, but for towing do you guys recommend towing in dynamic or auto?

Dynamic is not available in the Towing Mode. Check your owners manual.

Thanks, I should have looked there first.

I don't have wheel spacers but thinking of adding 14mm to my 20" wheels in the future. Will this put too much stress on them when towing?

Dynamic can be used to tow. I use this setting for my open car hauler. The sequence of setting it to dynamic before connecting the trailer is required.

I've towed in the UK and Europe with a number of different tow cars.
I do love the Q7 for towing... But i do forget sometimes that i have a Carvan behind me..
