Default Toyo Tires

Can I use Toyo Proxes St II 285 / 35 / 22 tires on a 2008 Q7 3.6????

I have been just told that they cannot work because they cannot handle the weight of the q7.....

Thanks

I'm not sure if your question is whether you can use that brand or that size. I have those tires on my Q. They were installed by the dealer when I bought the car. It was a CPO vehicle so I would think they are ok.

It is the size....I just spoke to someone in Toyo and they told me that the tire at that size is not designed to support the weight of the Q7...........

Anyway, I have seen a few others with the same tire on so am not too worried anymore.......What psi do you inflate yours to?

Filtering what few have posted so far I see Hankook and Dunlop as main players. I googled the spec you posted and came back with plenty of Range Rovers so they have been tested. Toyo website certainly makes them look like a choice tyre overall. How is the UK ride on 22"?
I find the 20" problem enough in Ireland with footpaths and potholes being an inevitable factor. This winter (due to end soon please) hasnt helped.

For those that have put the Hankook Ventus RH06 is the rim saver bead as large as the OEM tires? My Goodyears rimsaver is great at protecting the wheels, but at 12,000 miles are getting noisy. The Hankook looks like a good alternative. Plenty of tread left on the GY's just hate noise.

I haven't had any other tires on the truck so its hard to compare but considering they are low profile the ride is pretty good. They are quiet on the road
