I am owner ok a 4.2 tdi AVUS (same as premium) q7 MY07 witch had the same problems. It started with a MMI black out and water in the back of the car.
The Audi technicians, when they were told the problems knew the bose amp was flooded and knew the problem was from the sunroof.
My car warranty is over but I tried to call AUDI France. They told me the problem was not reported on my car series and does not agree to cover even a part of the damages.
I think I will never get another Audi after that !
As you can see even in France customer service is poor....

Mine is an Audi Q7 08 with VIN 011846. It had a leaked sunroof on the right side rear and because of which the amp stopped working. I had bought the extended warranty which covered the cost of replacing the amp but i had to pay to fix the leaked sunroof.

And just when we thought this thread was dead...
Mine is a MY 2008 with VIN 059646, and I just began experiencing leaks in the front passenger side immediately after 2 consecutive heavy rains when the car was parked outside. There doesn't appear to be water damage in the headliner, but the carpet underneath the rubber mat is soaked. I was able to see a water trail coming down from the right side of the glove compartment.
Called the dealer Friday and they quickly arranged an appointment with loaner car for Monday morning. We get a lot of rain in the Pacific Northwest, and I told them I was unwilling to wait 2 weeks to have this issue addressed considering the amount of additional damage that could occur.
Also called Audi USA (based on recommendations from others) on Friday and got the ball rolling there as well. Will post more once the diagnosis and final repair costs are known.

askered .. Same thing happened to my 2008 q7 passenger side leak . Dealer quoted me $1800 to fix but I called Audiusa and they talked to my dealer and they arranged it to be fixed under $400 . Replaced all 4 drains. We all should get something out of it as audiusa does not take it as a manufacturing defect but told me it is a favor that they are doing it to me
