Tyre sizes - 295/40-20 XL?

Tyre sizes - 295/40-20 XL?
I was planning on upgrading my tyres and alloys. Any ideas which alloy can I use?
Also, if I keep the 5 spoke SLine alloys which make of tyres will fit in size 295/40-20 will fit?
The only XL (Xtra Load) ones I have found are Continentals.

It should, will sit about a 1/2" lower though.
Diameter of tires:
275*.45 = 123.75 * 2 = 247.5 (sidewall top & bottom)
247.5/25.4 = 9.744" + 20" rim = 29.74 diameter of tire and wheel.
295*.4*2=236/25.4 = 9.29 + 20 = 29.29.

Cheers dub**2 - I'm happy to see a kindred math spirit on the forum. I enjoyed your careful calculation, but I suggest a modified conclusion.
You calculated a reduced diameter of 0.45" for the 295/40's. However, it is the change in radius that dictates how much lower the car will sit - i.e. 0.45"/2 = 0.225" = 5.7 mm. Also, the tire will not fill the wheel well quite as much.
And, it seems the speedo will read slightly high, by about (29.74/29.29) - 1 = 1.5%.
