looks great - I like it better than the original; nice work!
Was this just a simple swap?

I did the same mod to my 2009 S-Line... i think it look great... updates the look. The swap is easy.. just a few screws. Takes about an hour.

I did the grill and the rear lower spoiler + new tail lights. I had planned to replace the front bumper + new headlights but we liked the look without needing to do all that (which saved a ton of cash.)

That looks great! To confirm, you swapped out the lower chin spoiler for the S-Line one? Also, did your TDI come with the rear valence or did you ada that as well. Sorry, one more question...you added the LED tailights as well?

My Q7 is a 2009 TDI S-Line... so I already had the side valances (Which didnt' change for 2010/11 and the main rear bumper cover is also unchanged from 2009 to 2010/11... they only changed the lower 1/2 of the rear bumper (Audi calls it a rear spoiler.) I purchased the "spoiler", had it painted up, and swapped it out.... so now my rear bumper is identical to a facelifted 2010/2011.

Yes, I also swaped out my taillights for the new 2010/2011 LED lights. My wife wanted to order a new 2011 Sline TDI but we found this 2009 TDI Sline that was loaded up with air susp, b&O sound, and lux package) (Audi Marketing had ordered it) and it was even Ibis white (the 2010/2011 color.) We got a great deal on it so i told my wife i could make it look just like the 2010/2011... so i did a few mods and it turned out great.. she loves it.

Greytag where did you source the grill, through the dealer or vender if so who? And the taillight conversion was that a kit because you more then just the lights for proper operation of the lights?

How much does the new grill go for and what is the part number? Thanks!
