Has anyone figured out how to VAG on the directional parking marker? It was mentioned in the past that the EU Q7's have this feature and I would like to add it to my Q7.

What is the directional parking marker? I would look at me manual but it's not with me at the moment

If so, you know how you can turn marker lights on for either the right or left without turning on the dash lights, license plate lights, or anything else but the marker lights? This is what I am referring to. Oddly enough, the Touareg has this function when you leave the directional on and turn off the ignition.

I had thought someone said the EU models had this feature and if so I thought it could be VAG'd.

Related...did you get the VAG tools when you got the Q, or did you have it already for the A6 and 'reg?

Still debating cost/use utility for me...I'd love to poke around with it, but having difficulty finding time for anything these days.

I have never seen an audi (and i own one currently and have access to 5 others) or a bm or a merc without this feature. In all of them, leave the turn indicator on and remove the key and walk away and the park lights on that side will remain on.

However i did not know what you were talking about by the name 'directional parking marker'.
